BLOG 6 - My Study Programme
Hello Class today in this blog I will tell you about some of my favorite subjects from my study programme on my first year of Antropology!
For the moment I can say that I am enjoying the most of the subject of my career, there are some exceptions but those problems are more related to the way that this subjects are developed in class than with the class itself, aspects like the comunication beetween the students and the teacher, evaluations, etc, but that is a Theme I will talk more I depth in the teacher evaluation.
At the moment one of my favorites subjetcs is "fundamental problems of antropology" and "formation of the modern society" both titles are very suggestive about their content. The first one its about the most important methods and theorys in the history of antropology and how this theorys was produced to try to understand the others cultures. its very intersting see the evolution of this currents of thought through the time and see how it transform since teorys that treats the "other" like some kind of lower humans whose behaviors were interpretated like primitive conducts until the more actual vision that consider the "other" like a equal that just is diferent from us, and our task is understans the reasons of our diferences.
The other one in resume is focus on the most important landmarks of the history that were fundamental in the process that make the society what is now, having an especial focus in the Latinamerican history, I believe the reasosn why I like that much this class is because it is like my most "historical" subject, and since school History has been one of my favorits subjets.
I belive that I like this subjects so much principally because of their content but also for the teachers who teach each class. they make the contents too much interesting and dinamic
Fortunaly for the moment I am enjoying very much my career and I hope it continue like this. Thanks for reading and see you in class!
Hi Vincent! Wow its so interesting. Sincerely I didnt idea about the content to you see in "anthropology" but now Im most clear haha. I like the history too but no how to taught on my school, but after to do "PSU" when I had to prepare to do that test it was when I started to love the history. Its great when the teachers are friendly and makes the content it will be interesting.
ResponderEliminarI am very glad you are enjoying your career, Vicente! And the truth is that I am very interested in the subject "fundamental problems of anthropology" because I find that it has a relationship in some part with psychology.
